a splash of down-to-earth realism, funny voices, impromptu beatboxing, corny jokes, poor dance moves, and energetic vibe that has made Chris a popular speaker for parish missions, youth nights, teen & adult events, national & international conferences and more. Chris is also a professional musician & grand choir director for large
episcopal liturgies, and a contemporary worship leader for retreats, liturgies & Eucharistic Adoration, as well as large events including World Youth Day, NCYC, LA RECongress, NPM, LifeTeen, and more. Chris holds a Master's Degree in Theological Arts - Pastoral Ministry from Santa Clara University.

2025 Young Adult Pilgrimage
Chris is partnering as an ambassador for Jubilate, and will be leading a Young Adult pilgrimage to Italy in 2026 to see the Vatican, where they plan to see Pope Leo XIV, St. Peter's Square, and Assisi, where the group will experience a time of retreat & reflection at the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis.

As a composer, Chris writes beautiful, soaring songs of faith & psalm settings that highlight the beauty and power of God, through scripture, faithfulness, and love.
Chris is an artist for Oregon Catholic Press (www.ocp.org) Spirit&Song as a musician/speaker,
and is a popular speaker & workshop presenter for Los Angeles Youth Day, LA Religious Education Congress (RECongress), the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC), the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM), World Youth Day, National Eucharistic Congress 2024, and more.
The "Chris Estrella Music Ministry" (CEMM) often travels with him in on-the-road ministry,
as well as his wife, Alex, who accompanies him in song & movement, and their young children, Evangeline "Eevee" Hope and Edryc Cassian! Alex is a professional coordinator of liturgical movement, who has exercised the ministry of dance & prayerful movement at LA RECongress, at the NPM National Conference, and in their home Diocese of San Bernardino.

and he is currently working on new liturgical music compositions for upcoming projects.

With over 18 years of Youth Ministry experience, 8+ years as a High School Catechist, a Master's Degree in Theological Arts - Pastoral Ministry from Santa Clara University, and a number of studies in liturgy, music, and faith [Advanced Ministry - San Bernardino Ministry Formation Institute, Pastoral Music - Loyola Marymount University), Chris provides an insightful, family-friendly experience for those who know (and those who are learning) the Catholic-Christian faith, and has been a young adult worship Leader for 9+ years.

With encouraging messages for all ages, often magnified with Scripture and the examples of the Saints, Chris encourages all to take up our crosses and walk the path towards deeper connection with Christ and community!
